VR is a new medium, also for film makers. VRLAB shows some really interesting 360° video experiences – be the star on a stage and enjoy the applause or lie in bed and see how it is to be a woman. Definitely some cool immersive story telling.
This is by far the best Youtube VR player I have seen so far. You can switch between different channels and watch the 360° videos.
Shoot the approaching asteroids. Funny little VR game but be careful you have to move around a lot to destroy the asteroids.
Go on a diving tour with Mission Leviathan VR. A well made VR experience made by Fibrum.
To the Earth’s core is a nice game where you fall down into earth’s core. Collect power-ups and avoid obstacles. The first round is free and then you are prompted with a in app purchase screen. It’s $4,99 for the full game and totally worth it.
Gravity Train VR is a mix of a roller coaster and a journey into the middle of the earth. Pretty cool, but not interactive.
Fibrum’s Aquadrome VR is a very cool VR experience. You are inside a cockpit of a race boat and you can watch what’s going around you. One downside, it’s a pre-rendered video and the field-of-view (FOV) is pretty small.
Another cool VR music experience. Fly through the cyberspace and listen to experimental music.
Jaunt VR is a great collection of cinematic VR experiences. They have the best filming equipment and you can see the difference.
A collection of some nice 360° videos. Go surfing, diving and enjoy the nice landscape.
